REK Reinigungstechnik GmbH produces cleaning and degreasing systems that use modified alcohol or hydrocarbons as a cleaning medium. These systems are ideal for tasks requiring a very high degree of purity, high chip freedom, and a consistent and uniform cleaning result. The machines operate under vacuum, which contributes significantly to their efficiency.
In 2000, we sold the first system for the German company REK Reinigungstechnik GmbH, which is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of modern fully automatic degreasing systems. Since its inception in 1994, the company has sold more than 750 systems.
Since 2000, we have supplied more than 30 systems in Denmark and Sweden and have extensive experience with the specification, project planning, and operation of this technology.

DESIGNED FOR OIL AND CHIPS!
REK's technology is specifically designed and adapted to efficiently remove oil and chips from machined parts. Primarily machined metal parts, but it is also possible to clean machined plastic parts.
Basically, all systems are designed to perform the same process but vary based on the specifications assembled to meet each customer's specific purity requirements. The most commonly used modified alcohol is Dowclene 1601, which is a well-documented product with approvals in the aviation industry and the production of medical components.
Typically, a component basket is used to handle the parts, and REK's program is designed according to standard component basket sizes. The best-selling size fits component boxes measuring 480 x 320 x 200mm (Schäfer type 2) and can also be supplied for Euro baskets or for multiple baskets of the same size simultaneously.
The process begins by moving the component basket into the chamber, after which the door closes.
Once the door is closed, a vacuum is created in the working chamber, removing the air. Then, the first tank with modified alcohol opens, filling all components and the chamber with cleaning fluid – this also applies to components that would normally contain an air pocket. With the liquid in the chamber, the system can add ultrasonic cleaning and/or filtration, which effectively removes oil and chips from the components. The component basket tilts or rotates throughout the process to ensure uniform treatment.
After the cleaning process, the components are vapor degreased and vacuum-dried to an incredibly high and consistent level.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Vacuum Process:
The entire process takes place under vacuum, which removes air from threads and blind holes, allowing the modified alcohol to penetrate everywhere – regardless of whether the part is placed with the blind hole facing downwards.
The vacuum system is also used for transporting liquids and for efficient vacuum drying of the parts.
Distillation:
The system has its own distillation apparatus that effectively separates oil from the modified alcohol. This means the residual product to be removed from the system is approximately 95% oil and 5% modified alcohol (e.g., Dowclene 1601)
Automatic Handling:
Most of the systems are delivered with automatic handling. This ensures that the machine can operate fully automatically for a long time without the need for an operator.
